The 2021 Lakeland Winter Auction is starting to stack up as one really epic auction. One example that is sure to garner a lot of attention is this Reef Turquoise 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible.
Under the hood is a beautifully polished and correct 389 cubic-inch Tri Power engine paired to a M21 4-speed manual transmission. Power is sent to the rear Firestone Redline tire wrapped Rally wheels through a Safe-T-Track rear end with 3.36 gears. This car represented the best Pontiac had to offer in the 1960’s with power steering and power brakes and a loaded Mariner Turquoise interior featuring rally gauges, a walnut dash, and a black power top. According to the car’s title, the car is documented to have only been driven 11,000 miles.
This GTO and more will be available as part of the Lakeland Winter Collector Car Auction, February 19-20 at the SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus in Lakeland, Florida (10:30 a.m. start time daily).
