The manufacturer is based out of South Carolina and makes several different vehicles, like a tour bus, search and rescue vehicles, a floating Ford Explorer, and a full-size motor home. The Hydra is the most successful model from the company, and the 1-fof-6 2008 Cool Hydra Spyder is a hard to find car from CAMI.
The 2008 Cool Hydra Spyder is a two-door convertible can drive directly into water, where it will tuck the wheels to create the flat hull space for boating. It is powered by a LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine that makes 450-horsepower, on land or at sea. Backing the engine is a five-speed manual transmission, and the unique vehicle has a top speed of 125 miles per hour, with a cruising speed of 46 knots, or around 53 mph in the water, according to the builders.
