68 world-class cars from the Passport Collection head to auction in Auburn, with most offered without reserve.

One of the most diverse and respected private automotive collections in the country is set to cross the auction block later this month. The Passport Collection, a 68-car ensemble spanning pre-war classics to modern Italian exotics, will be featured at the Auburn Enthusiast Auction on April 25–26, hosted by Worldwide Auctioneers. Most of the vehicles will be offered without reserve.

Curated by prominent collector Steve Plaster, the Passport Collection represents decades of passion and precision in car collecting. Highlights include a 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Cabriolet B with coachwork by Sindelfingen, a rare 1995 Ferrari F512 M finished by Pininfarina, and a 1967 Maserati Ghibli 4.7 Coupe. Additional standouts include a 1931 Auburn 8-98 Boattail Speedster and a 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC, underscoring the breadth and historical significance of the offering.

A number of vehicles in the collection, such as the 1959 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider and a 1951 Hudson Hornet Convertible, blend period charm with exceptional craftsmanship, offering something for nearly every type of collector or enthusiast.

As part of the auction festivities, bidders can participate in Guess the Gavel, an interactive contest where participants forecast hammer prices for top lots. Prizes range from luxury vehicle shipping by Passport Transport to a VIP auction experience and professional photo shoot.

A video feature on Worldwide TV gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at both the collection and the logistics of moving 68 significant vehicles. Ed Watts of Passport Transport emphasized the white-glove handling and secure shipping service that has supported the collection for years.
