Rebuilt Defender 110 boasts a 300 TDI engine, ZF auto transmission, and luxury interior upgrades for all-terrain refinement.
A classic 1987 Land Rover Defender 110 has been restored and reimagined into a high-performance luxury off-roader by Legacy Overland, blending utilitarian roots with cutting-edge features and opulent detailing.

Dubbed “Project Yellowstone,” this Defender has undergone an extensive frame-off rebuild, centered around a 300 TDI diesel engine swap—replacing the original 2.5NA unit—with a fully rebuilt four-speed ZF 4HP automatic gearbox sourced from a Land Rover Discovery. The drivetrain overhaul also includes refurbished axles and differentials, delivering a significant boost in power, torque, and overall drivability.
Finished in a refined Mooreland Gray Blue metallic with contrasting Glossy Black accents, the exterior features a Puma-style hood, custom vents, LED headlights, and a roof-mounted light bar. Modernized but unmistakably classic, the SUV sits atop 18-inch diamond-cut sawtooth alloy wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO2 tires.
Inside, the cabin has been transformed with premium materials and modern tech. Dark brown leatherette upholstery with diamond stitching complements black leather-wrapped surfaces throughout the dashboard, center console, and columns. Heated bucket seats, a matching rear bench, and Alcantara-lined roof and walls elevate the experience.

A premium audio system, complete with dash, door, and roof-mounted tweeters, a subwoofer, and integrated amplifier, pairs with a touchscreen navigation system supporting Apple CarPlay. Additional refinements include Legacy Overland’s signature red-faced gauges, billet door hardware, and a custom air conditioning system.
With its updated wiring harness, reinforced rear-mounted spare tire carrier, and Dynamat sound insulation, this Defender combines its legendary durability with creature comforts fit for cross-continental travel or stylish city cruising.

Legacy Overland’s revitalized Defender 110 stands as a testament to the timeless appeal of Land Rover’s design—built for adventure, but now with unmistakable luxury.
