This stunning truck, finished in GM Omaha Orange over a brown interior, underwent a comprehensive frame-off restoration by Bennett’s Garage in Mesa, Arizona, completed in September 2021. With more than 3,000 hours of fabrication and customization, this build represents the pinnacle of classic truck restoration.
At its heart is a rebuilt 383 cubic-inch Chevrolet stroker V-8, paired with a rebuilt TH350 automatic transmission. Performance enhancements include roller rockers, lifters, a Lunati camshaft, and a polished intake manifold. The truck rides on an upgraded Chevrolet Caprice chassis and suspension, with front disc brakes and oversized rear drums for improved stopping power.
Custom craftsmanship is evident throughout the build. The handcrafted steel bed, custom LED lighting, and new brightwork ensure a show-quality finish. Inside, the modernized cabin features one-piece power windows, a big-back window, power door locks, a shaved dash, and a push-button start. The interior also boasts a Buddy Bucket seat combination, custom door panels, a center console with USB charging outlets, and Dakota Digital VHX gauges.
